Mass Spectrometry Technician
Join a leading bioanalytical laboratory and become the go-to expert for LC-MS and HPLC instrumentation. In this hands-on role, you'll operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize analytical systems that support critical scientific studies while working alongside a collaborative team of chemists and study leaders.
What You'll Do
Operate and maintain LC-MS and HPLC instrumentation
Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and instrument set-up
Support laboratory studies through analytical batch execution
Train and mentor scientists on instrumentation best practices
Coordinate instrument scheduling and maximize system utilization
Collaborate with chemists and study teams to ensure high-quality results
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related science field
Experience operating and troubleshooting HPLC instrumentation
Strong laboratory and problem-solving skills
Interest in analytical instrumentation and mass spectrometry
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment
Preferred
Experience with LC-MS or mass spectrometry
Experience supporting multiple instruments within a regulated laboratory environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
